How you'll contribute JOB
Summary:
Provides professional clerical support following established standards and practices.
Schedules high volume of appointments along with other clerical duties.
Refers matters outside their scope of duties to the Clerical Supervisor or Division Administrator.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Perform high volume of OB/GYN appointment scheduling, possibly in phone room setting.
Collect co-pays when applicable.
Perform patient check-in/check-out procedures as needed.
Scan patient charts Represents clinic in a professional manner.
Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year scheduling/front office experience.
Ability to be a self-starter that can multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in an effective manner.
Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Two years clerical medical office experience desired.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
