Prior law firm or medical office experience is a plus.
Sucessful hires will have the opportunity to transition to full-time if desired.

Duties of this position include:
Using software to sort, label and electronically file.
pdf documents to include medical records, correspondence, investigation materials and court pleadings.
Converting documents from all forms to.
pdf format.
Organizing Exhibits.
Assisting in the maintenance of the database.
Handling incoming calls.
Providing support to paralegals and firm administrator.
Generating form pleadings and subpoenas.
Assiting with record retrieval.
Preparing outgoing correspondence and records for mailing.
Picking up mail from the Post Office.
The following job skills will be developed through on-the-job training:
Identifying court pleadings.
Calendaring events.
Communicating with clients, courts and opposing attorneys.
Understanding the contents of medical records.
Efiling with state and federal courts.
Performing back-up paralegal functions.
With a small but busy office comes shared responsibilities.
Candidate must possess, and exhibit during the interview process, skills to include strong communication, use of proper grammar, flexibility, excellent customer service, team-centered mindset, values, drive and strong work ethic.
Regularly used software includes Time Matters Case Management Sofware, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office 365 to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
