Description:The Lab Medical Assistant II is responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing, communications with nursing regarding patient specimens, referring specimens to outside laboratories, interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests, performance of phlebotomy procedures and performs other duties as assigned. Prefer 3 years inpatient phlebotomy experience. Qualification: Certifications and Licensures Preferred Phlebotomy Required Driver's License If applicable Education Required High School or Equivalent Or Bachelor's Related field in lieu of experience Experience Required 6 months Phlebotomy Or 6 months Laboratory Related Or 6 months Related Field Specific Skills Required Work independently Required Interpersonal skills Required Time management skills Required Written and verbal communication skills Required Computer skills appropriate to position Required Organizational skills Required Work with a team Required Customer service skills Required Medical terminology use and understandingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
